Provided MEP and sustainability due diligence and risk assessment services for this Public Finance Initiative project. This project involved the complete replacement of two schools and the extension, refurbishment and maintenance of seven schools. The service provider was Jarvis and financier Sunlife Assurance.

Survey Manger and designer for a fast track survey rollout and production of outline structured IT cabling and small power designs for fourteen Crown Courts (including the Old Bailey) in the south east of England.

Government Art Collection - London

Services Designer and Manager for mechanical and plumbing services design for this project which required an existing building in central London to be transformed into an art store and museum including special areas for film media storage.

Carried out a technical appraisal of the whole Imperial College campus and prepared presentation for the Heads of Finance and Property for several UK Universities – presented emissions trading and compliance opportunities seminar.

Thanet College - UK

Carried out a full services and structural condition audit of the college campus and produced minor works specification for the repair of numerous items.

Scotch College - Melbourne

Worked together with the architects to design an enclosure to cover the quadrangle at the school at Hawthorn; carried out extensive site surveys and provided ESD design development work utilising computer modelling to optimise lighting, fabric, heating and ventilation strategies on this and at an additional campus.

Global Change Building - University of Queensland

Developed the business case for this development together with the Architect for the Client; produced all tender documents for all disciplines, and led the ecological design and managed the accoustic, ESD, and fire engineering services for this multi award winning project.

Scot’s Church - Melbourne

Provision of DA related building services and ecological sustainable development (ESD) advice for this 11 floor office project.

Buntingsdale School - UK

Designed the geothermal heat pump system for this school. About 2km of polyethylene pipework was laid in looped coils laid flat into a trench about 2m deep dug around the school playing fields. The ground source loops were connected to electric heat pumps that in turn provided heating to the school.

Sutton Schools - Sutton

Carried out detailed forward maintenance condition surveys of 24 schools; covering heating, cooling, and hydraulic services, legionnella risk identification, together with identifying energy conservation opportunities.

Kostka Hall - Primary Schools - Victoria

Working together with the project architects provided ESD design development work utilising computer modelling to optimise lighting, fabric, heating and ventilation strategies.

Southbank Tafe – Queensland

Project Director & Lead Maintenance Surveyor for Spotless FM for all of Southbank Tafe; assessing the performance of the FM work (for building fabric and MEP services), and the review and enhancement of forward maintenance schedules and ‘remaining life schedules.

Tecnnical agent, responsible for site surveys, scope of works and capital planning, production of tender documents for MEPH services, site inspections, and commissioning witnessing.

Launceston University – Architecture School - Tasmania

ESD Engineer for this project which aimed to convert an old industrial building into the new department for architecture.

Guildhall University - London

Detailed asset register and condition audit for all engineering services for ten large buildings that comprised the University’s extensive central London campus. This work was part of facilities management optimisation and re-tendering process.
